Monologue?

So I have this monologue I need to have memorized by tomorrow...yeah it's almost nine and I haven't even glanced at it yet tonight, let alone worked on blocking, or anything...Writing is just so much more fun than acting. I love acting, but it isn't my passion, and so I do it only halfheartedly. That's probably not a good thing, but honestly I love English too much to want to focus on anything else but writing and people.
On the bright side I love my monologue, I'm working on one of Ren's from Footloose, and it's one of my favorite scenes. I criticized our lead in high school when he acted that scene out, but honestly it's a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'm really glad I'm not a theatre major right now, because I've realized I'm not a strong actor, I'm mediocre at best, and I don't mind it. As long as I keep progressing as a writer, I'm okay with whatever goes on.
Oh BTW, read "Hills Like White Elephants" today in English 2600, umm, it was really good, just in case you're after a story with lots of symbolism and all that.
